Doubts about Ademar

Spanish CL team, Ademar Leon, made another surprise in the Spanish League – a negative one. Ribera’s team lost their match against a modest side. Torrevieja won in Leon by 32-33.

After Ademar’s away draw the last weekend against Pilotes Posada in Vigo, this defeat is alarming for the club. Leon seemed to be in good form after winning against Zagreb in the CL, but these two bad matches left doubts. 

Ademar do not usually lose points at home; their court is one of the strongest courts of European handball. Ademar are in a difficult situation now as their whole season can be compromised with these bad results so early. It is not probable that Ciudad Real, Barcelona or Portland would lose against similar teams. There is more and more talk about former coach Manuel Cadenas who left Leon to sign for Barcelona before the season.

Leon will have to compensate the supporters in the CL now. The next match will be played in Switzerland against Kadetten and it will not be an easy match.
