Ademar Leon pay the price of CL win
The beginning of Asobal League has been full of surprises so far. The latest from Vigo: Ademar Leon could only make a draw against Pilotes Posada, a team recently promoted from Spanish League B.
Leon have to be satisfied with the point after Pilotes leading until the last seconds of the match. Jackobsen scored the final 27-27 that saved a point for Leon. The Spanish CL team paid the price of a hard game against Croatia last week in the first day of Champions League.
Ademar had a very hard match in Vigo with some players having physical problems. A virus weakened five players and this was too much for the Ribera team. The Ademar coach send everyone on court to avoid problems with tiredness.
This draw and the defeat of Portland last week gave Barcelona and Ciudad Real an unexpected advantage on the top of the table. The other Spanish CL teams won their matches without problems over the weekend. Portland won easily against CAI Aragon (37-24) and Ciudad Real against Arrate (39-22).
