Sören Stryger, right wing of CL runner-up SG Flensburg-Handewitt, was successfully operated on Monday with his left knee.
Dr. Otto Kloppenburg, medical director of the Baltic Sea hospital Damp, has repaired the a cartilage of the Dane. “The operation was according to plans,” says Dr. Hauke Mommsen, doctor of SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
“In the next four weeks I will not be able to do sports, I have to wait and see what happens,” said the Danish international. When Sören Stryger can begin with trainings again will be decided early November. “After such operations you must have small objectives at first, you can improve step by step,“ says Dr. Hauke Mommsen.
“I am glad that the operation went down well and that I do not feel pain anymore,” said Stryger.
“We are happy that the operation was okay and that Sören may return this year,” said Fynn Holpert, manager of the SG Flensburg-Handewitt.
