FC Barcelona visited Germany this weekend for a special charity tournament with several mini-matches.
 

Barca: Successful German Tour

Barcelona won two mini-matches and made one draw in Germany. The matches were all 30-minute long. Winthertur and Huttemberg were beaten by the Catalonians, while Wetzlar and Barcelona drew the most intense game. It was almost 100 minutes of handball for the Cadenas team. The occasion served for the team to practice various game elements. All the players spent some minutes on court, while Juan Garcia, Nodesbo and Iker Romero were the best scorers.

Romero was top scorer of his team in GermanyBarcelona won again twice on Saturday. This time HSG 94 Kahl-Kohlstein and TV Kirzchell were the opponents for 30-30 minutes. The score was the same, 14-24 against both clubs. Barcelona were really impressive in attack, but the defence was less brilliant.

Lot to do in defence

The objective of Cadenas is to improve the defence in order to capitalise on fast breaks. Losert, Barrufet and Kasper shared the time in the goal during the weekend.

Barcelona are preparing for the match against ABC Braga on 29 August, CL Qualification Round. Rocas is injured, but Noddesbo is ready for these games against the Portuguese Braga.

In fact, Barcelona with many new players have ambitious plans in the Champions League.
