BUDUCNOST ENDS FIRST PART OF THE PREPARATIONS

After 12 days in Kolasin, a town located at 954 m of altitude about 75 kilometres from Podgorica, Buducnost T-Mobile is back at home for a few days. The team of new coach Tone Tiselj are leaving for Hungary on Thursday, to play the first friendly matches in the preparation period.

The Montenegrin champion worked very hard in Kolasin, mostly to improve physical condition. But not only...

Dragica Milickovic-Orlandic is confident after the hardest trainings“We had a great time in Kolasin. In some way, everything was different than before, but it was not easier as it is always the case at the beginning of a preparation period. I was impressed that everything was planned well, with purpose. We have players between 16 and 33 years old, and the fact that we were all able to complete the work indicates that our coaches did a great job. Certainly, it was a different type of work than in the previous years. The innovation is the physical training combined with a lot of work with the ball. I think we can be satisfied with what we have done till now, also because, except the goalkeeper Itana Perovic, we had no problems with injuries,” stated Dragica Milickovic-Orlandic, pivot of Buducnost T-Mobile.

Friendly environment

Coach Tone Tiselj was also satisfied with the period in Kolasin.

“We had great conditions in Kolasin, everything was top-level. The accommodation, the hall, running tracks...Also, the people in the hotel and the hall were very kind, so we had no problems in doing what we planned,” Tone Tiselj said.

The new coach of Buducnost T-Mobile, who signed a three-year contract, considers difficult to judge the real value of his rejuvenated team.

The results will not matter for Tiselj at the tournament in Hungary“At the tournaments in Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia, we will see what we have done till know. But it is more important for me that the team will be ready for the start of the European Champions league,” Tiselj added.

Buducnost T-Mobile will play first matches at the international tournament in Hungary, on 24-25 August. The rivals in the group are the host Dunaferr and Ferencváros, while in the second group there are Hungarian teams Cornexi, Győr and the Russian side, Lada Togliatti.

“This tournament comes the right moment. We will have very good tests against strong opponents. But, I don’t think the matches in Hungary will give us a clear picture of our qualities, because this is the beginning of the preparation. It’s no imperative to win the tournament, but to check the physical, tactical and technical force of the team,” Dragica Milickovic-Orlandic added.
