The Croatian CL team will be reinforced with successful and experienced players: Dzomba, Jerkovic, Spoljaric.
CO Zagreb Signs Croatian Stars
The right winger of the Croatian national team, Mirza Dzomba returns to his former club. Yesterday, after months of speculation and rumours, he finally signed his new contract with Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb.
After 3 years in Veszprém, Hungary and 3 years in Ciudad Real, Spain, he signs another 3-year contract with the Croatian champion.
But that’s not all. National team goalkeeper, Dragan Jerkovic arrives from Schaffhausen for 2 years, while another national player and defence specialist Denis Spoljaric moves to Zagreb from Pivovarna Lasko. Spoljaric signs for three years.
Club manager, Zoran Gobac obviously did a great job with these reinforcements and they promise an exciting new season for all Croatian handball fans.
More targets
At this point, the only remaining transfer target for next season is the pivot of the Croatian national team, Igor Vori, playing for Barcelona. This is not more than a rumour at the moment, but Gobac proved already that rumours may easily become reality.
The management of the Croatian club are planning to collect all Croatian national players in the club. The transfers of Mirza Dzomba, Dragan Jerkovic and Denis Spoljaric - in addition to Fyro Macedonian Kirill Lazarov - are big steps towards a strong team.
