Valladolid vs Flensburg: Pabellon Pisuerga Sold Out

Valladolid will play their home game against Flensburg in another local sportshall, Pabellon Pisuerga. All tickets have been sold out in advance. It means that over 6000 Spanish fans will support the home team against Flensburg. Eurohandball.com talks to Valladolid manager, Raul Torres. Eurohandball.com: What is this Pabellon Pisuerga like?

Raul Torres: The sporthall was built in 1984 for the Gymnastics World Championship. It has a capacity of 6.028. The basketball team of Valladolid play their official matches there.

Eurohandball.com: Is it possible for the team to get used to the hall until the decisive game?

Raul Torres: Although this is not the sport hall where we usually play, we hope not to have any problem. There will be a few trainings the days before the match. W e expect wonderful athomosphere. Our supporters  love to cheer the team and there is always a good ambiance with music and songs.

Eurohandball.com: What is the interest from the local and international media like?

Raul Torres: There is a great interest for the game, as it is the first time the team takes part in the Champions League and we were not expected to get this far. There will be around 65 journalists, locals foreigners as well.
