Aalborg won by ten at home against Hypo, but the return game will not be easy for the Danes.

Second Leg is Not Formality

Everyone in an around Aalborg DH agrees that the second leg against Hypo Niederösterreich cannot be regarded as mere formality in spite of the ten-goal advantage after an astonishing 34-24 home win over the Austrians.

"Of course, the ten-goal lead is fantastic, but we have to know that it is going to be a completely different game in Austria on Friday night. We start from 0-0 again and we will have to fight the whole game and have to be clever as well," Louise Mortensen – one of Aalborg’s best players in the first match – told eurohandball.com.

"There is absolutely no doubt that Hypo can do much better, than they did at the first match. They will be attacking with 120 km an hour and we have to be prepared for that. I think that the best we can do is to forget about our ten-goal lead and simply see this as a completely new match where we are going for another win," Louise Mortensen added.

For the return match in Austria, Aalborg will miss the Norwegian international Kristine Lunde because of a shoulder injured, while the rest of the team are reported to be fit.
